GLASTONBURY, Conn., January 11, 2021 – Leading travel insurance provider Travel Insured International (TII) has named Kathleen De Riso, Vice President and Head of Operations.
In her new role, De Riso is charged with bringing together each operational discipline within TII, ensuring the company continues to provide its clients with the superior products and customer service they have come to expect from TII. She reports to Susan Silfen, Senior Vice President of Crum & Forster’s (C&F) Accident & Health Division’s Specialty Business Unit, of which TII is a key part.
“Kathy’s outstanding background, underscored by her expertise in both underwriting and operations – along with her substantive third party administrator experience – make her the perfect fit for this important role,” said Silfen. “I can’t think of a better person to help TII manage the strong growth that is anticipated over the next several years.”
De Riso, who joined C&F in April 2020 as Assistant Vice President of Specialty Underwriting, has also held underwriting and operations positions with Trip Mate (which was acquired by Generali Global Assistance in 2019), Meridian Management Group and BerkelyCare (now a division of Aon Affinity Worldwide).
She holds a B.S. in Business from Marist College.
