The Crum & Forster Segregated Portfolio Company (SPC) Captive is our AM Best “A” rated direct writer captive, which provides flexible solutions for our customers and distribution partners.
Our Crum & Forster SPC Reinsurance Captive is another service we offer to provide alternative risk transfer arrangements for existing clients, new potential policyholders and various producers interested in assuming risk. The facility currently includes Stop Loss & Excess Medical and Occupational Accident segregated cells.
Typically, captives are suitable for large policyholders and producers interested in alternative risk transfer arrangements for U.S. and internationally based exposures. Crum & Forster SPC and Crum & Forster SPC Re are domiciled in the Cayman Islands.
AM Best has assigned Crum & Forster SPC a Financial Strength Rating of “A” (Excellent) and a Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating of ‘a’, both with a ‘stable’ outlook (2021). Crum & Forster SPC Re is an unrated facility as a rating is not relevant.
